VOLANT Aerotech is committed to becoming the most defining enterprise in the second century of human aviation. We lead in developing, designing, and manufacturing manned eVTOLs (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft). Headquartered in Shanghai, we operate a smart manufacturing and flight test base in Zigong which is capable of producing an annual number of 300 aircraft. Our flagship VE25-100 offers a spacious cabin, exceptional payload, and unmatched versatility for passenger transport.

VOLANT's core team comes from world-leading aviation companies such as COMAC, Airbus, and GE, bringing extensive experience in civil aircraft R&D, airworthiness certification, and commercialization. Our key members have played central roles in the development, certification, and commercialization of nine globally renowned large aircraft programs, including the ARJ21, C919, C929, and Bombardier C Series.

VOLANT's first product, the VE25-100, was a premium commercial passenger eVTOL and one of the first in the industry to secure confirmed orders. To date, the Company has completed 11 rounds of financing from leading Chinese investors, including Shunwei Capital, Future Capital, CDH Baifu, Legend Capital, and Shougang Fund, providing solid financial backing to support the successful commercialization of our first aircraft.

The Company has secured over 1,900 letters of intent and confirmed orders from top industry clients, including China Southern Airlines General Aviation, Asian Express, ABC Financial Leasing, Beijing E-Town Financing Leasing, Zigong State-owned Assets Management and Investment, China Aviation Rescue & Emergency, CAR Inc., China General Aviation, China Fei Long General Aviation, and Deerjet, with a total order value exceeding RMB 47.5 billion.

    Dong Ming

    He is a seasoned aviation systems expert and eVTOL pioneer with over 20 years of experience, who has held positions at AVIC, General Electric, and Rockwell Collins, and played a key role in the development of the ARJ21, C919, and CR929 aircraft.

    With 26 years of industry experience, he brings extensive expertise in aircraft program development, large-scale systems, and software/hardware engineering, serving as the Chief Engineer for flight control and avionics systems.

    Since 2016, he has focused on eVTOL technology and market research. As a member of NASA's Vertical Flight (VF) Working Group, General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), he contributed to the U.S. Advanced Air Mobility roadmap and key industry standards. In 2021, driven by his passion for flight and a vision for the future of mobility, he founded VOLANT, committing himself to revolutionizing eVTOL transportation.

    Mcfly Huang

    He holds a Ph.D. jointly awarded by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal.

    He has nearly 20 years of experience in market development and corporate management in China's general aviation and low-altitude economy sectors. Aa a serial entrepreneur, he has a proven track record of driving business breakthroughs, pushing industry boundaries, and developing and implementing innovative business models across key aviation areas.

    He serves as Vice President of the Shanghai General Aviation Industry Association and Vice President of the Low-Altitude Economy Branch of the China Association of Information. He is also an expert for the Low-Altitude Economy Think Tank of the China Communications and Transportation Association, a think-tank expert for the Training magazine of Xinhua Daily Press Group, and a member of the China National Democratic Construction Association.

    Zhang Baozhu

    He has 27 years of experience in civil aircraft development and is a chief engineer–level expert in the eVTOL industry.

    He previously served as Chief Engineer and Director of the Engineering Center at Wanfeng Aviation Industry; Deputy Chief Engineer and Deputy Director of the Research Institute at CETC Wuhu Diamond Aeroengine; and Deputy Chief Engineer for Civil Aircraft at AVIC Shenyang Aircraft.

    He has extensive experience in the R&D and airworthiness certification of multiple aircraft models under Part 25 and Part 23, both domestically and internationally, holding positions that include: Chief Engineer for DA40/DA50/DA20, Chief Engineer of the domestic DA42 model, IPDT Lead of the rear fuselage of AVIC MA700 aircraft, and Chinese Chief Representative of Canadian Bombardier C Series.
